Summary
We're into November and many courses have decided to close for the season...but our golf course friends at Prescott have committed to going the distance with the Slammers and will remain open for us to visit to the very end! Today we had six full groups in the field and the weatherman was right on the button with his forecast of full sun and temps in the low single digits. Prescott is always in great shape and the Slammers were treated to some of the best greens we've seen in weeks. The clubhouse restaurant and bar are now closed for the season but we had our very own Kookie set up on the 9th tee box with Timmies coffee and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to keep up energized and ready to tackle the back nine. An offsite wrap up at O'Heaphy's Pub completed our day.

	It's common knowledge that Potter likes to hang with the Slammers and today he only had a short jaunt East on the 401 from Brockville to Prescott. With the St Lawrence in the background he must have felt at home and settled in comfortably to defend against Grumpy, Orange Crush and fellow SS BigGuy. Potter was in the lead group today and was first to put the doggie ball down on the 15th. He made the putt for the bird which was cut off but Potter did walk away with the doggie that survived five groups of pinseekers. Congrats !
	BearCat
	If you were betting on the ponies today your choice would not have been this Slammer to come out on top but this is the Slammer Tour and every BearCat has his day. With a 5-21-0 record against his group BearCat defends against Mulder, squares the match with PizzaMan and takes over the top D rank with the upset win over Supersy....landing himself in the top 15 of the Slammer ranks. Awesome!
	Smitty
	Smitty did the 1-1-1 match play dance today...he fell to Blue on the 17th, went all square with GoTee and moved up and into the top 10 of the ranks with the win over Juice. Not too shabby....but Smitty was the big winner today in the bones department taking home two skins earned in the first six holes and a doggie that was almost in the hole on the first par three of the day. A slight right turn just before the cup left his doggie ball a mere 3 inches from refreshments for all! Nice !
