Summary
I pull into the Rivermead parking lot in my Dodge Charger and I pass a Maserati, Porsche, two Beemers, and a Land Rover. I felt like it was Caddy Day at the Bushwood Country Club! But, the staff were very welcoming to the Slammer Tour. The rain held off the whole round and a great time was had by all. This has to be one of the best courses in Ottawa hands down. A great layout with top notch conditions. Qualifying ended yesterday for the Commish's Cup and Captain's picks were all finalized during the round. Good luck to all participants Saturday!

Today's first star has been on the Tour for SEVEN seasons but this is only his 3rd round this year and he made it count. Hambolo went 2-0-1 with wins against Skeeter on the 12th, Old Spice on the 17th and battled back to tie Point Zero two down with three to play. Along the way he picked up 3 skins and 2 Doggies for an additional 35 BONES. Well done Hambolo! |

Today's 2nd star went 3-0 with wins against Turtle on the 14th, Aggy on the 15th and T-Bone on the 17th. Brewcee carded two birdies and both were good for a skin. His tee shot on #8 was good for a Doggie as well. This brings Brewcee's record to 17-1-1 on the year. Who actually beat this guy? Don't know? Ask Grumpy! |

Today's 3rd star was full credit going 2-0-1 with wins against Skeeter on the 13th and Old Spice on the 15th. He did crumble a bit at the end letting Hambolo back into the match for the tie but that still doesn't discount how well he hit and scored today. Well Done Point Zero! |
