Summary
It was interesting that the field today would provide a few little known factoids about the number 1 ranked Slammer, MCGOOP. His favorite cartoon character is PEPILEPU; favorite actor Patrick SHWAYZE; favorite Disney characters are the ever forlorn donkey EEYORE and the cantankerous dwarf GRUMPY while his favorite oldies tune is the DUKE of Earl. Before starting out this morning, he had himself a glass of orange JUICE with a SHORTSTACK of pancakes after which he went digging into his LUCKY Jar full of MONEY for enough change to cover the cost of some range balls so he could hit a few IRONS before GOing to the first TEE. On his way to the course, he was startled when some STEEL CRAZY wench, driving like a ROADWARRIOR, flew past him in a rage. She flashed him not one but several FINGerZ as he screamed at her “you need to practice a little ZENGIRL!”

While to some it seems like an easy out, you just can't go wrong picking this Slammer as the days first star. McGoop goes his proverbial 3-0 (really!), tallies four birdies (ho hum!), has one doggie (that's it?), claims two skins (nothing to see here folks) and remains the number one Slammer (no kidding!). Still full value as the outings first star. |

Lucky has given truth that even a blind squirrel finds and acorn every once in while when he finally shows up with some game. Yes he pulled out a couple of horseshoes during the round but for the most part he kept his ball in play and sunk the putts he needed to on his way to a 3-0 day, has a birdie, a skin, a dog and jumps 58 spots in the standings. After a long absence from the podium he happily ends the day as 2nd star. |

Despite only taking up the game a few years ago this Slammer just continues to impress with his game. He also posts a 3-0 record, has a birdie and a doggie and defends his top 20 position on his way to 3rd star honours. |
