Summary
Twas a grand day at Metcalfe. The weather was nice and warm with a good breeze blowing to keep one from over heating after hitting a bad shot or two. As always, the course staff were pleasant and the after round food and beverages hit the spot. While the matches were intense nothing beats the fun and companionship of a bunch of Slammers hanging out.

Flyer, Pistol Pete & Cracker found themselves fighting an up hill battle in their matches against Garbo who laid a beat down on the three amigos. Garbo even wore his red shirt in order to help hide the blood stains. Going 3-0 Garbo fires a couple of birdies and lays claim to two skins on his way to earning the days 1st star honours. |

It may have been a nice warm sunny day but Ozzie, T-bird and Stevie Ray discovered that there was also a little bit of a Chill in the air. Looking to solidify a spot for the Canadian challenge, Chill sets her sights on moving into the top 20. The result, "down goes Ozzie!", is a 3-0 record on the day along with 1 birdie, 1 skin and the 2nd star title. |

They came gunning for Lucky's ranking but left with their tails between their legs. After a slow start Lucky finds his stride and ends up going 3-0. He has a birdie, a doggie and a skin making it a good day. |
