NOTABLE: GoTee scores his 26th dog of the season which puts him into the 1st place position for the Culligan Doggie Cup. It also represents his 101st Dog in his 2 and 1/2 seasons on the Slammer Tour. Yes, this may be the year of the GoAT! Congrats!!

NOTABLE: 1st two groups finish in less than 4 hours!! Great POP and hats off to group 1 JonJon, Shteeme, Gru and Flagondry and Group 2 Pipeline, Turtle, P-Bomb and Skeeter for a great pace. The 3rd group finishes in 4hrs 10 minutes which is okay!!

Turtle, GoTee and KC invited the remaining Slammers to join them at the Big Rig. It was a very pleasant time there with great food, great conversation and amazing beer!!

We started on number 10. If you win or lose there is no difference in the Slammer match outcome. It only make a difference at what hole or when you win or lose. For example, go to the bottom of this page and put in KidsClub vs Bubba as a match. If the match starts on 1, KC is 4 up after the 15th hole but if you put in the match starts on 10, KC wins the match on 18th!!

Summary
Location! Location! Location! Another sold out Thursday Pine View event with cooperative weather, great conditions and a bunch of fun loving Slammers. These Thursday event are becoming like a Slammer club event with many of the same loyal Slammers coming out every week. Conditions are great and matches are close, so as always results all depend on your swing and your performance. We missed a few of the regulars but hope to see them next week. As always, the enjoyment factor depends on the Slammers who play and the course conditions. And thank you to my fellow Slammers since by all accounts you really enjoyed the day, Slammin'! PS it was so difficult to choose the 1st star since it was neck and neck!!

How do we choose stars. Who knows when the performance results of the top two players are identical. Today`s 1st star was chosen by a coin toss between the top two since it was so close. I wish I could give both 1st star honours since both deserve it. Our first star today is Moe of the Slammer Tour, Pipeline. Yup he goes undefeated taking down, Turtle, P-Blomb and Skeeter! And he brings home the bacon by having 2 birds, 1 dog and 1 skin. This Pipeline guy is one fire. Great Slammer results and congrats!! |

With almost (forget the almost since it is) an identical record, Ozzie takes home the 2nd star nod. He goes 3-0-0 by knocking out GoTee, Ehmcee and Habib. He marks this event also with 2 birds, 1 dog and 1 skin. Ozzie has been on fire since school has been out for the summer. Ozzie shoots the same stroke play score as our 1st star. SO the results of the 1st star and 2nd star are identical. Nicccccccccccccccce Ozzie!! |

Now our 3rd star has an outstanding round going undefeated punching above his weight class as he knocks out JonJon, Shteeme and Gru. He scores 11 below his scoring median and registers a dog and a skin. Such a great performance, Flagondry! Congrats!! Did I pronounce your handle correctly. |
