Summary
It turned out to be a fine day. The Weather Man was wrong for a 2nd day in a row which was a good thing today! Thundershowers never even threatened and we only had a little bit of drizzle for a few holes. Three players jumped into the top 10 and they weren't all in the same group. Habib plays his 11th event of his rookie season which places him 3rd for rookies. We told our stories of the day on the 19th hole...maybe a little too animated but we were alone so no harm, no foul.

Today's first star was a pretty easy choice. Iron Maiden goes 3-0 taking down GoTee on the 13th, Albatross on the 15th and Flagondry on the 16th. With two Doggies and one Skin, Iron Maiden also is the bones leader on the day. All this and a sub-80 round which is always a special score for a "B" Classer. Well Done! |

Today's 2nd star was also yesterday's 2nd star so he goes BACK TO BACK! Some would call that the perenial Bridesmaid but probably not to his face! Habib goes undefeated with wins against Gator on the 11th, and Fingz on the 18th to take over the #4 ranking. A tie with T-Bone keeps him from the sweep of wins but 2-0-1 is a tidy 5 points. |
