Summary
It's day three already and another spectacular golf day South of Binghamton at Conklin Players Club. The weather has been so incredible that it felt like we all boarded a plane for the weekend instead of the quick trek just South of the border with the Conk and Primo. If you don't know what those are by now then please start at the beginning and read all three event summaries :) Bingo 2016 will most likely be named "Year of the Bus Wars" as each took on a personality of it's own and claimed to be the best! Monday Burger was closed last night so most gathered in the hospitality suite, ordered pizza and relaxed for the evening with more poker and fun times. And the votes are in, Bingo 2016 has officially been deemed the BEST Bingo trip EVER ! Most already talking about next year, especially those who couldn't make it and have already cleared their schedule for next year. Now let's get this season started ! IronMaiden

Today, our Jewel became a diamond. Jewel spent a week in Jamaica with the ClubEG crew and that caddy must have been something special mon....this Slammette was playing in her first Slammer event since her return from the trip and shot the lights out today! She entered this event with an 0-2 record against her foursome and came out on top defending against Rookie and recording the upset wins over Papa Malone and BearCat adding six points to her Slammer stats. Jewel was solid today recording her lowest personal round and we are honored that it happened during a Slammer event. Congrats and keep up the great playing ! |

YipMeister had anything but the yips today and managed to do something no other Slammer was able to do this long weekend...he took down Steel Crazy for his top 20 rank. YipMeister also defended against GolfGeek and recorded the upset win over Gator along the way. He circled two birdies on his match play card...and both held up for the skins to take one quarter of the skins pot. Nicely done ! |

Corporal is our title sponsor yes but he totally earned this star...no schmoozing here. He enters this event with a 1-14-2 record in this group and records the upset wins against Primo, Dyke and ZenGirl. One birdie but that's all it took to earn a skin as no other Slammer sunk it in two on #2! Awesome and best of luck with the new Yoga studio venture! |
