QuikSnap Doggie report: The greens were so green they must have blinded a lot of players because only 2 out of 5 were hit … well a couple of three-jacks did contribute to only two slammers splitting the pot and taking home 17 bones each. Winners are Bubba (#2 at 10') and Goofball, our rookie in the field (#16 @ 33').

Summary
The Slammer Tour was honored to be a part of the opening day at Manderley. And what a day! Beautiful sunshine, immaculate greens (no winter kill we could find on Central-North) and an odd rule from the course that I'd never heard before. "No cart path". Yes, we were NOT allowed to drive our carts on the path due to water/mud, but we could scramble everywhere else. We were a small group as a big group is down in Binghamton right now. We may have been small but we had some top ranked slammers in the field and there was a lot of movement during some very enjoyable matches. A big thank you to Manderley for providing us with a 1st star prize - a lovely green Manderley golf hat. This course loves us! And it is reciprocated. All in all, a great day for my OC debut. Couldn't have had a better bunch of guys to play with.

Chucker gets our number 1 star today. He goes 2-0-0 defending against Rusty and Goofball. He picks up 2 skins with pars and has the low round of the day. As the 1st star he also takes home a golf hat donated by Manderley. Sweet! |

It's not always about your match record. One of two slammers sporting a new titanium knee, Bubba signs up late and allows our Skins to be official. Thanks Bubba! Not only that but he decides to pick up one of those skins and captures one of the only two dogs in the field. Nice! Keep coming back Bubba. That knee is doing you proud. |
