Summary
With a few brief periods where the dark clouds looked like rain and thunder, this Slammer event at Champlain was played under sunny, warm summer conditions without a drop of rain. The overnight shower made the fairways divot worthy and has reduced the amount of summer roll one would get along these fairways. The greens continue to be the best we have seen at Champlain in some time. Lots of work going on to improve the course conditions. We enjoy playing these regular events every Mondays morning. Great course conditions, with enjoyable buddies to play with. Thanks for enjoyable day, my fellow match player competitors!! Your OC, KC.
