Summary
Six groups of Slammers came out to Casselview in anticipation of 15 degrees, sunny, no rain day and enjoying wonderful fall golf. Like most, we didn't check the forecast for wind. As we approached Casselview, we realized that it was going to be windy. Hitting balls on the driving range in the wind and practice putting in the wind gave us an indication of what was to come. The wind provided challenges as we adapted our games to adjust for the wind. Punched greens were also an unexpected surprise. But hey, its fall golf, everyone faced the same conditions and we did enjoy the course, the challenges and our fellow Slammers in our groups. Higher than expected scores for most but we must remember this is match play. Half the matches were upsets which leads to lots of jockeying in the rankings. This is particularly important as we head into the run for #1. Overall, we had a great time on the course and the 19th hole. Thank you Casselview and all the Slammers out today for another great Slammer event. Your OC, KC.

The 1st star, Guyzer, had a great day on the windy links. He defeats 3 fellow B division Slammers, wins the 2018 MPC Super Senior Championship, has a birdie, wins a dog, wins a skin, shoots an A score and takes down the B1 Slammer. Super!!
Iron Giant
IronGiant takes the 2nd star nod. He wins matches vs 2 B division Slammers, wins a dog, has a birdie and upsets the #1B Slammer. Well played, Congrats!
Chef
The third star, Chef, plays match play Slammer golf very well. He is 3-0-0 vs 3 A division Slammers. He wins a skin, a dog, has birdie and is the 2018 MPC Senior Champion. Outstanding.
