Summary
The Slammers made the trek to golf at Le Chateau Montebello Golf Course, always a favourite on Tour. The Stanley Thompson design is stunningly picturesque and a golfers challenge. With major elevation changes and taking advantage of the natural topography of the area makes this course a challenge accented with memorable vistas with elevated areas, difficult ravines, and tricky greens. If you don't hit them straight then you are in trouble. A challenging course with beautiful scenery makes this a golfer's delight and can be reflected in higher than normal golf scores. Enjoyable golfing company on such a wonderful day only added to feeling that its great to be alive golfing at this super location. Thanks T-bird, Potter and 3wd for such a great day Slammin'. Potter Potter is the event winner today. Potter, a C Slammers, reaches up to the B division and goes all square with KC and also wins against 3wd. Today's event is part of his weekend swing as he played today, will stay over night at Montebello and with Slamm at Carleton Golf and Yatch Club on Saturday. Playing Slammer events at two nice courses. WELL DONE, SIR!! |
