Summary
Once again we escaped the wrath of mother nature. Reports from cell phone conversations confirmed that it was spilling downtown and we could hear the storms in the distance but only a little rain came down in the middle of the front nine and that was all. The Marshes was obviously the place to be! Tomorrow marks the start of the Ottawa Sun Scramble City Championship week and "ladies first" as three divisions of women's teams take it to the course at Cedarhill Monday morning. Good luck to everyone participating...kick butt Slammers!

Shades - our first star today! This dude looked as cool as Ricky in his (almost) head to toe Puma duds and played as good as he looked! Defending against Bookie and with the upset wins over PizzaMan and LongBall, Shades rakes in 6 points and moves into the top 20 of the Slammer ranks. Shades adds a whole bunch of stats to his record....with 2 birds good for 2 skins and 1 doggie and shooting a spectacular 9 stokes below his average. Stellar! |

Ho hum...just another spectacular day on the course for the Kid as he goes 3-0 for 6 points defending against Turtle and TwoPutt and with the upset win over Hacker.
