Summary
November sixteen, two thousand triziteen and the season is at that point where it is ramped up and ready for the big finale, the ultimate match up, the final showdown...The Run for #1 ! Thank you to Falcon Ridge for hosting our thirteen groups and fifty two Slammers today. As always, Steve and the whole Falcon Ridge crew did such a terrific job and where else can you get an open driving range, full food service and porta potties at this time of year! Steve was even on the first tee ensuring that the Slammers flowed through without incident for our 17th through 4th hole shotgun start today. We have all been on our "mark" for several weeks now as Slammers plotted and finagled their way as close to the top of the Slammer ranks as they could...today we were "set" as all divisional number one leaders were kept out of the picture so 4 others would vie for one of three spots and tomorrow it is "GO" time! Good luck to all on this final Run for #1 !

Gaspeboy (r)
Our first star recorded three upsets taking down Ozone, Eeyore and Blue and will finish his first season ranked in the top 20 of the Slammer ranks. Gaspeboy is in his rookie season on the Slammer Tour and in six events this newbie has accumulated a wealth of stats with 13 birds, 7 skins, an 89% winning record and with his tight doggie on the first par three of the day makes it a total of four doggies this season. Gaspeboy, aka Ricky Coulombe, was also this year's EG Senior Club Champion. Congrats!
Wally
Wally came in ranked fourth in the top four of the Super Senior standings but must have learned that haste makes waste as he wastes no time getting the edge on Rexall, Bookie and Chubs and takes all upset wins by the 16th hole today marking three birdies in his first 11 holes and with the Run for #1 format will now start as the #2 ranked Super Senior in tomorrow's final match up against Potter, Rexall and Chubs. Well done!
ProZee
ProZee came out to play as the #1 A Classer but he was not defending that position at today's event so we'll just leave that info out of the report. So what is the top A classer to do while he waits to see which three Slammers he'll be trying to defend his top rank against tomorrow? Well, he gets a birdie on the 11th hole but it is not just any birdie. It is a birdie on a hole that not one of the other 52 Slammers in attendance could match and so he gets the skin. But it is not just any skin, it is THE skins, the one and only skin of the day and so ProZee takes home the full skins pot and two hundred and thirty bones. Sweet Sweep!
