Summary
Spring is finally here for good and Mother nature was in good spirits this Mother's Day weekend with a full sunny sky, temps in the low twenties and some strong gusts to make things interesting. Three groups of Slammers including five Slammettes were lucky enough to get away for today's event at Club de Golf Buckingham and we were treated to some spectacular course conditions. Any Slammer who has not yet made the trip up to Buckingham should sign in for the next event here on June 8th - you'll be in for a treat. Spectacular day!

GoTee must have rested up well overnight after playing 36 holes at Edelweiss yesterday and he heads right back out and defends against PizzaMan, Small Pak and Precious. With one bird that holds up for the skin, GoTee walked his 54th hole in two days and is quoted on the 19th hole saying "Let's go out again!". Go Go Gadjet! |

PizzaMan was also part of the 36 hole fun yesterday...maybe something in the good ol' Québécois air that's feeding this great play? PizzaMan circles three birdies on his scorecard, two of which hold up for the skin and lays down two all dressed slices for the doggies. He's bringing home the bacon for the next pizza pie! Team Quebec member Crenshaw was solid on his home turf north of the Outaouais river and successfully defended his top 10 rank against fellow Team Quebec member Pipeline (4 & 2) & Team Central member Blue (3 & 1) then recorded the upset win against another Team Quebec member Old Spice (2 & 0) to move 1 notch closer to the top of the Slammer ranks. Nice! |
