- Pommie was our Doggie Master today, and presented the Culligan Water twenty bone dogs to Hype (5), Eddie (7), and Big Guy (18). There were a reported three three putts on doggie chances today. Thank you Pommie for finishing your breakfast and giving the report with an empty mouth. He also thanks his assistant BigGuy for starting the collecting.
- Rules reminder – I know that we mentioned this LAST Saturday, but let me encourage you all to know the rules. Go and have a review. See C section. Look at 9, 10 & 11 and I encourage you to ask your questions. Today, a ball when into the woods. Slammer tees up and is hitting three from the tee. Do you all know what happens when (s)he gets down the fairway and finds the original? Next – are you all certain what happens when you deem a ball unplayable? – again I ask you to go see rule 10 and know the difference of a one stroke vs two stroke penalty.

Summary
Note to self… When there is an early tee time be sure the kitchen is open! Those that golfed yesterday, arrived with wet shoes. BigGuy parked facing north / south instead of east / west. Except for the closed kitchen the Dragonfly team did another fantastic job of hosting us. Then it was 7:08 and BearCat hit his drive down the middle of the fairway. At 11:28, Mulder sank the 1137th Slammer shot of the day. Four hours and twenty minutes from the first tee shot til the last putt.

No dog but he does get the second quotable over there on the left (he did leave a ball which was beat on one green, and on another he had a three jack). He entered the day with a 0-0-0 record vs. his opponents. His new record is now 3-0. The first victim was Roesy - they shook hands after the 13th, and Harley moved from the 136th to 107th rung on the Tour’s ladder. His other two matches were all square as they teed off on 18. Harley landed on the pancake, and two putted to leave the doggie ball. ShortStack's five, gave up the 46 rank and then Harley'z (i LIKE it) upset of SmallFry vaulted him to #14. He started off with the first birdie of the day on hole four (was good for a skin). Defeated BearCat 6and5 to bring his career to 3-0, vs BC. Their pair of bogeys on 16 was enough for him to defend with his inaugural match against Hype. The upset that earned him #11 was when he knocked off IronMaiden, He will still need to beat her once more to bring their career to 4-4-1, Congratulations on your best score on the Tour this season. |

No OC likes to do so but occasionally, there comes a time when he has to. Today he upset BigGuy & Mulder to become #1 D. He also defeated C classer Pommie. This was only his 7th win in 25 career matches against the Wanker. NO! It isn't my first ever 3-0 day. |
